Cake Orders

Salam,  Updating photos...from previous orders....


This cake made for Ita (office collegue)
Pelik sikit bcoz Ita nak Apple Walnut + topping Chocolate
selalunya kalau fruit based cake I will use Cream Cheese but
Ita kata sedapp je...topping Chocolate Ganache tu teballl sedap!

TQ Ita...and macam biasa lah part tulis tulis tu mmg kurengg ...
jangan marah ye...TQ TQ so much!!

later that week bila saya tanya cake tu jadi gift / dia sendiri ngap?

this cake guna banyak dark chocolate..dari kek, mousse and
topping ganache tu....banyak chocolate!!
nak share resepi...but malas nak type.. lain kalilah...he he

tak habis deco di rumah...sambung deco kat office masa
lunch time.. he he he..

Kek Lapis Prune Berempah

Asalamualaikum... I'm back....to update my activities since my last post...banyak jugak baking project
dan experiment... but I will share yg...successful saja lah..he he..For this post ...ni bukan my 1st time buat
prune layer cake ..dah 2,3 kali sebenarnya and paling best tiap tiap kali it turns out jusssst fine and nice..
my hubby suka, berkeping keping berlayer layer dia makan...but the kids didn't really likes it mungkin
sbb ada flavour rempah.

Sebab baru nak try try berexperiment dgan layer cake so, bila refer kat resepi from blog Abg Rozzan click here tu takut jugaklah sbb this cake guna 20 egg yolks!! tu pun dah terkejut ...tak cuba lagi resepi2 dari blog Rima click here lagiii banyak...ada yg sampai 50egg yolks!! Gambar for my 1st project x sempat di rakam
yg ada cuma sepiring saja..macam photo kat bawah tu ..hmm banyak prune!! Ikut original resepi cuma
guna 180gm prune..but for my 'derhaka' version I used 340 gm...habis 1 kotak Prune! and setiap kali
saya buat kek ni saya gunakan 340gm juga..baru terasa flavour PRUNE!! Sedaaapppp...yum yum!!

Resepi below ..pun ambil dari blog Abg Rozzan...with minimal adjustment or...as CMG mentioned 'DERHAKA' version..

KEK LAPIS PRUNE BEREMPAH

Bahan-bahannya:
20 biji kuning telur
5 biji putih telur
280 gm gula halus I used 250 gm
500 gm mentega
150 gm tepung Hong Kong
200 gm susu pekat
50 gm badam kisar
2 sudu teh rempah kuih
1 sudu teh baking powder
1 sudu teh vanilli I used vanilla essence
180 gm buah prune (digunting2) I used 340 gm!! Cut into 4 & leperkan..
 I  added 1 ts ovalette

Caranya...

1. Pukul putih telur bersama baking powder hingga kembang. Masukkan gula sedikit-sedikit sehingga habis. Pukul lagi hingga naik dan pekat. Ketepikan..
2. Mentega, vanila essence, ovalette dan susu pekat dikacau hingga kembang.
3. Masukkan kuning telur satu persatu dan terus pukul hingga sebati.
4. Masukkan adunan mentega yang telah dikacau tadi ke dalam adunan putih telur.
Kacau rata-rata lalu masukkan tepung sedikit demi sedikit.
5. Masukkan badam dan rempah kuih. Kacau hingga rata dan sebati.
6. Bakarlah selapis demi selapis hingga masak.
 Pada setiap lapisan genap, bolehlah dibubuh dgn buah prune.

-Saya gunakan loyang 9 x 9 inch , oven set to 170C (this one depend pada oven masing2) ,
-1st layer saya guna api atas & bawah...bakar >< 7 minit../ hingga kek masak, keluarkan,
 kemudian tukar kepada api atas shj utk lapisan kedua dan seterusnya...
 tutup loyang dgn aluminium foil kalau kek bertukar warna cepat sgt...terlalu gelap...dan
 masih mentah...
-lapisan terakhir guna api atas dan bawah.. sehingga lapisan teratas masak..
